NorthStar Realty Europe (“NRE”)

  • NRE is a commercial company listed on the NYSE with approximately $2.0 billion portfolio with 30 high-quality properties predominately in the U.K., France and Germany
  • Equity REIT with relatively low-leverage profile (expected 40-50% loan-to-value) focused on direct ownership of real estate
  • Characteristics including: i) Long term capital ii) Flexibility to invest in across the capital structure in all major jurisdictions and sectors and iii) Experienced, dedicated investment team in Europe


Opportunistic Closed-end Credit Funds

  • Colony Distressed Credit Fund (CDCF) is a series of global closed-end credit funds
  • Target attractive risk-adjusted returns through investments in real estate and real estate related credit, with emphasis on loan originations, NPLs and REO acquisitions


Asset Management: Over $8.1 billion of assets under management in Europe


  • Primary role in investment analysis, structuring, and closing of transactions;
  • Tracking ongoing pipeline deal flow and other internal processes;
  • Preparing investment memos;
  • Drafting term sheets;
  • Working closely with portfolio management, accounting and legal teams to coordinate transaction closings;
  • Preparing sensitivity analyses and portfolio stratifications;


  • 2-3 years of investment/lending experience with demonstrated passion for real estate;
  • Financial modelling expertise along a diverse range of assets and deal structures;
  • Strong writing and communication skills with investment presentation experience;
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
  • BA or BS degree with strong academic record;
  • Ability to work well in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment
